How We Work
Great design is not magic — it is method. Our six-phase process has been refined over a decade and 150+ projects to deliver the right result, every time, without surprises.
The Journey
From your first enquiry to the moment you walk into your finished space, we manage every step. You are kept informed, involved, and excited throughout — never confused, never surprised by costs or timelines.
Phase One · Complimentary
Every project begins with a conversation — ideally in your space, or via video call. We want to understand how you live, what you love, what doesn't work, and what you're dreaming of. We'll ask questions that go beyond "what's your style?" — we want to know how you use each room at 7am and at 7pm, how many people eat at your table, whether you read in natural light or prefer lamplight.
This session is complimentary, commitment-free, and always honest. If we're not the right fit for your project, we'll tell you — and we'll recommend someone who might be.
What We Deliver
Phase Two
Once we're engaged, we immerse ourselves in your project. We develop a comprehensive design concept — moodboards, material palettes, spatial layouts, lighting concepts, and furniture proposals — and present them in a structured design presentation that lets you see, feel, and respond to the vision before anything is committed.
We believe strongly in design clarity at this stage. You should never walk away from a presentation uncertain about what your space will look like. We refine based on your feedback until the concept is exactly right.
What We Deliver
Phase Three
Approved concepts are developed into full technical drawings — detailed enough for any contractor to build from with precision. This is where design meets construction: joinery details, electrical layouts, plumbing points, tile patterns, ceiling designs, and window treatments are all drawn and specified.
Our technical documentation is the reason our projects are delivered as designed. We leave nothing to interpretation or guesswork on site.
What We Deliver
Phase Four
We manage the sourcing and procurement of every item — furniture, light fixtures, tiles, textiles, hardware, custom pieces, and artwork. Our network of trusted suppliers across India and Europe means you have access to materials and makers that most clients wouldn't find independently.
All orders are placed, tracked, and coordinated by our team. You review and approve; we handle the logistics, inspections, and storage until installation time.
What We Deliver
Phase Five
Site visits, contractor briefings, quality checks, and problem-solving — this is where our project management becomes indispensable. We are on site at critical stages and available to contractors and clients at all times. Our site reports keep you informed without overwhelming you.
Issues arise on every construction project. Our experience means we identify and resolve them before they become costly — and our client never hears about the hundred small problems we solved before they became big ones.
What We Deliver
Phase Six · The Finale
The moment the construction team leaves, our styling team arrives. We place every artwork, arrange every object, dress every surface — transforming a finished construction project into a home. This final stage is where good design becomes unforgettable.
Following styling, we photograph the space professionally. The images are yours — to share, to remember, to post. Then we hand over the space with a thorough walkthrough, material care guide, and supplier contacts, so you can maintain it beautifully for years to come.

Questions
We typically work on projects with a minimum design fee of ₹3 lakhs. This generally corresponds to a single room or a smaller apartment. For larger budgets (full-home or commercial), we're very happy to discuss scope and structure that works for both parties.
Yes. We've completed projects in Goa, Delhi, Pune, and Ahmedabad. For projects outside Mumbai, we typically require an initial in-person site visit and build travel costs into the project fee. Remote design with periodic site visits is a workable model for many projects.
Yes, subject to a briefing meeting with your contractor to ensure they understand our standards. We work with a network of trusted contractors and can recommend them if needed. We do require that our site supervision role is clearly defined in any contractor agreement.
We establish a detailed budget at the start of every project and track it closely throughout. We build in a contingency buffer and flag any potential overruns before they happen, never after. We have never delivered a project more than 10% over the approved budget without prior client consent.
A full-home residential project typically takes 6–12 months from first consultation to handover. A single-room project can be completed in 10–16 weeks. Commercial projects vary significantly by scale. We always provide a detailed project timeline before any work begins.
Yes — our Design Direction service provides concept, materials, furniture specification, and 3D visuals, and the client manages execution independently. However, for full-scope projects, we strongly recommend retaining our project management to ensure the design intent is preserved through construction.
